New Folk ~ Old Folk is Cabin 10’s flagship event. The name being the touchstone to what we present each year. A cycle of creativity featuring the latest winners of the Kerrville Folk Festival’s Grassy Hill New Folk Competition and a cast of seasoned artists that we’ve grown to love over the years, many former New Folk winners and Club 7. That said, and to accommodate moving NFOF to November while still highlighting the most recent, May 2024, KFF New Folk winners, we hosted an "interim" festival - "Live at the Donkey Shack" - November 15-17, 2024 at the Solis Campground, directly across from Fischer Hall.
New Folk Old Folk featuring the 2025 KFF New Folk winners will be November 13 - 16, 2025 at Fischer Hall. tickets for NFOF 2025 are at: https://cabin10.ticketspice.com/new-folk-old-folk-2025. Four days, three nights, anchored by the incomparable listening space of Fischer Hall, then spilling out into the campground each night for song circles that continue into the morning hours as well as on the Jimmie Bell Whipple Stage at the Donkey Shack. It’s a celebration of singer/songwriters, complementing musicians, and listeners. The perfect recipe for a great weekend of music.
