Womenfolk Radio is a weekly 2-hour program produced in Minneapolis by veteran DJ Ellen Stanley. A fun and informative show, it features a wide variety of folk/acoustic music from women and non-binary artists, including Americana, blues, bluegrass, traditional country, singer/songwriter and roots music from around the globe. As a banjo player, publicist and music writer, Ellen brings an insider’s perspective to the music with exclusive interviews, new music, themed shows and tasty bits of fun folk trivia. An experienced inteviewer, she has talked with rising stars and legends like Joan Baez, Joan Armatrading, Indigo Girls, Sweet Honey in the Rock, Rosanne Cash, Rickie Lee Jones, Shawn Colvin and more. Originally created for KFAI Community Radio, the show continues to air there every Wednesday from 8-10 am CDT. It is also carried on stations across the country and is available via PRX as a 1 or 2-hour format.

Vanessa Lively Band performs the new album Mirroring the Wildness at Radio Coffee & Beer on 4202 Menchaca Rd. This album release show is free and open to the public, and is an all ages event.

The album features musical collaborators Ben Bedford (guitar), Andrew Pressman and Paul Curreri (bass) and Mark "Gumby" Williams (cello), John Macy (pedal steel) as well as lauded drummer/producer JT Bates (Taylor Swift, Bonnie Light Horseman, Joe Pug, I'm With Her). This vibey, indie-leaning folk, Americana album is Lively's 6th full length release.
